The Yes That Changed My Life
Let’s rewind to college (go Owls!). I picked up a part-time job with a wedding planner and that small yes led to a forever kind of love. I dove into the world of timelines and table settings, thinking I was planning events, but really, I was stepping into people’s lives during one of their most meaningful moments. Slowly, I started falling head over heels for the wedding world.
Just as I was about to start my own wedding planning biz, my boss handed me a camera and said, "You’ve got an eye for this." She mentored me, invited me to second shoot, and suddenly, I wasn’t just organizing timelines. I was capturing timeless moments. Curiosity turned into passion, and I never looked back. Turns out, freezing joy in its purest form is where I really come alive.

And then it all clicked...
As my faith deepened, so did my understanding of the work I was called to do. I stopped seeing weddings as just beautiful events and started seeing them as sacred beginnings. It’s not just about the dress or the perfect golden hour shot. It’s about covenant. A vow. A daily choosing of love that builds a legacy far beyond the wedding day. That’s what I’m here to preserve.

Today, photography is how I honor everything I’ve come to believe. It’s how I serve others during one of the most meaningful seasons of their lives. I capture what the day felt like. The laughter.
